  2. My parents should make more income than someone because their parents invested a certain amount of money in their education. Everything that they earn right now is a sort of ROI. Anyone who needs education for their chosen career paths, should get the right to access education, regardless of whether its a school like Stamford or a school in Cambodia.

  3. 1. My parents worked hard to provide me with shelter, education, food.
    2. They work harder and more efficiently for every coins they earn.
    3. They worked hard for every single coin they earned.

  4. In life I deserve what I work for. That way I will have the incentive to work harder.

  5. 1. Lucky to born in a house with relatively wealthy income level and having the opportunity to learn knowledge in school rather than trying to feed myself everyday.
    2. The way they decide to earn money worked out quite well compared to other people, therefore they are more successful in terms of wealthiness.
    3. Since they worked for the money, they deserve to keep them, if you work, you earn things, and vice versa.

  6. Why should you be at Stamford instead of a child in Cambodia?
the only reason that I would be in stamford and they are there is just because of how lucky we were to have the parents that we had and that they were able to afford the life that we live and their perients couldnt do the same.

Why should your parents make more income than someone else?
Because of the expertise that my parents have in their fields of work compared to someone who is getting minimum wage and lacks education.

Why should they get to keep the income?
Because of the hours they put in and the actual impact they created in their fields and on the world.

  7. we don't really deserve anything, i believe we are just lucky enough to be born in such situations where we are privileged enough to have money, peace and health and we have taken advantage of being fortunate and so we have further expanded our connection becoming more wealthy

  8. 1. lucky to be born at a high-income house and my parent decide to give me better education in Singapore.
2.They did the right thing at a right time and been through a hard time than others. A high-income is only one of this result.
3.They work on their idea and make it possible in real life, they should be able to take the benefit from their own business.

  9. 1. Because my parents can afford to send me to Stamford, whereas a random child in Cambodia's parents probably cannot afford to send their child to Stamford.

One of the factors why they would not be able to do so is probably they do not earn enough to send their child to Stamford.

    3. They should get to keep income because it is them who has worked hard for it.

  10. I feel that my parents deserve to earn more income than someone else because they work hard for it. It is all their effort as well as their parents', who have invested in them when they were younger (by providing food, ensuring they are educated, etc), that is cumulating and resulting in such income. As I see it, my parents are investing in me.

    2) they should be able to earn more than someone else since they're extremely smart, diligent and dedicated to their fields of expertise
    3) They deserve to keep the income since it is the fruit of their hard work and effor

  14. One thing in life that I've learned is that you don't deserve anything, nothing is ever granted free. Instead, it is earned. Therefore, a conclusion can be made that my parents and grandparents had worked hard to get opportunities to do jobs that are more valued by society. They were also lucky enough to have the opportunities and connection to get to those places. Due to the fact that society rewards certain jobs, my parents are paid with a certain amount of money. The higher pressure the job, and more revenue it makes, the greater it is paid. Therefore I do not deserve anything, only am privileged and gifted to have the platform that I have.

  15. What do you deserve? Nothing

Why should you be at Stamford instead of a child in Cambodia? Because luck.

Why should your parents make more income than someone else? They were smart about the cards they played, cards which were already well dealt to them

Why should they get to keep the income? They're greedy, selfish, and family-centric. They earned the money by being lucky enough to have the opportunity to work in a good university which pays them well for basically being lucky, and being smart about how to optimize that luck.

Nobody in the world deserves anything. Things play out in ways beyond our immediate control. Things were not meant to be, people don't deserve anything, sh*t just happens.

  16. 1) Well, i'm fortunate enough to be born to family, where parents are well educated and are able to afford basic necessities and probably even more to be able to send me to such schools.

2)Not just my parents obviously, but whoever works hard, with determination and efficiency will be able to make satisfactory income and even more.

    3) They get to keep the income as they worked day and night for it with full determination.

  17. We don't really deserve anything. We were just lucky to be born in to such families that allowed us to have this education. We shouldn't have more access to education than those children, we didn't do anything different that got us to earn this education, they should have it as equally as we do.

Why should your parents make more income than someone else?
Depends, what are they doing? If someone isn't doing their job and my parents are then they should earn more, and vice versa. Depends on the situation, shouldn't be because of race, ethnicity, or who you are as a person. It should be based off of the work you are doing and what you are achieving.

  18. 1)Because I have the conditions to come to Stamford.
2)They know how to create their chances and take them.
3)No one takes it from them.

  19. Why should you be at Stamford instead of a child in Cambodia?
I believe that I attend stamford instead of children in Cambodia as due to the wealth gap between children/families in Cambodia and my family. As my family is able to pay for the fees I am able to attend the school.

Why should your parents make more income than someone else?
My parents should make more income than others due to the fact that they are within their knowledge ranking, title of job, and as they have been through universities to get the knowledge they need to do their job.

Why should they get to keep the income?
As they have had too work hard, go through years of education, move up in different ranks at different jobs.
